Academy Business Manager: This is a non-teaching role. The Academy Business Manager is a member of the senior leader team (SLT) within the academy. NJC terms and conditions will apply to this post.

L6 - L10 (£53,380 – £58,959) per annum

Permanent, full-time. 52 weeks per year

Key Responsibilities: • Manage academy finances, budgets, and resources. • Oversee HR processes, including recruitment, staff development, and performance management. • Collaborate with senior leaders to implement the academy’s vision and values. • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures. • Contribute to the academy’s ambitious development plans. Qualifications and Skills: • Evidence of recent training and professional development relevant to a school business environment • School Business Management qualification or equivalent • Ability to communicate clearly and write accurate, coherent and professional reports • Full working knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice and legislation • Excellent working knowledge of IT applications Experience: • Successful experience of middle or senior leadership and management in a school or relevant field • Involvement in self-evaluation and improvement planning • Management of the processes of recruitment and human resources • Financial management within a school or similar setting • Effective line management and accountability.
